Podgora
Podgora is a little fishing village, situated 7 km south-east from Makarska. In he recent decades it has built significantly its tourist offer. Although the inhabitants consider fishing and agriculture their main activities, i summer they readily dedicate to tourism and their guests.
Here you can find accommodation in one of the famous hotels or many apartments and pensions. Pogora is mostly considered ideal for peaceful holidays.
Podgora has two marinas – Porat and Čaklje which provide place for 350 boats. Already in the past, these were considered safe harbours for the sailing boats.
